CAEN India is proud to announce a dedicated webinar on the SNIPER-GN – Portable Special Nuclear Material Identifier!

This webinar is designed for professionals working in the fields of nuclear security, military forces, law enforcement, and civil protection — as well as anyone involved in radiological threat detection and homeland security operations. Whether you’re part of a governmental body, a defense organization, or a technical support team, this session is tailored for you.

The webinar will last approximately 60 minutes and will be led by Massimo Venaruzzo (Chief Operating Officer of CAEN India) together with Massimo Morichi, President of CAEN India. Joining them will be Cristiana del Bene and Fabio Davolio, both Field Application Scientists, along with members of CAEN’s international support team. This expert team will guide attendees through an in-depth technical session, featuring real-world demonstrations and practical use cases.

The session will explore the core features and capabilities of the SNIPER‑GN, including its compact and rugged design, embedded spectrum analysis, and advanced algorithms for isotope identification. A live demonstration will showcase its intuitive web-based interface, connectivity options, and the software tools available for data acquisition and remote monitoring.

Real gamma and neutron sources will be used during the live demonstration, providing a unique opportunity to observe the SNIPER‑GN in a realistic detection scenario and to evaluate its response to various radiological signatures.

Participants will gain insight into practical use cases such as border control, field inspections, vehicle and cargo screening, and emergency response — all made possible by a portable, high-performance detection system.
