FRENA at SINP has been organizing SLENA with an aim to train and educate a generation of physicists who can design experiments with FRENA- a DAE funded national accelerator facility. Since FRENA is the first-of-its-kind accelerator in the country, it has great potential towards addressing long-standing nuclear astrophysics problems.
